I am the master of disguise
Student, cutter, sister, lover
Druggy, employee, friend, and daughter
I even fool myself sometimes

Velocity left me
Said she simply couldn't keep up
I get so busy flying faster than the speed of light
That sometimes i forget to just breath

Doped up is an understatement
They tell me drugs are bad news
As leave my appointment, equipped with a months
medication

I know i couldn't take the pain of getting a tattoo
I think about this as i cut my arms to ribbons
Just another hundred faceless scars
Soon to be lost in the crowd

I'm told i abuse the system
I use painkillers to kill pain
Where does it specify that pain has to be physical?

I tend to take things literally
And was disappointed to note:
solvents didn't solve my problem

I find paradox tedious
The endless nature of circles depresses me
Since all mine are vicious
And leave me without answers

What was the question again?
