Locked in silence,
Can't say a word,
Can't scream or shout,
Trapped and immobile,
You open your mouth,
But no words come out,
Paralyzed by fear,
Tied down by grief,
You can't remember,
What feeling normal is like,
Lying on the floor,
Curled into a tight ball,
Praying to be delivered,
From the evil,
You have fallen into,
Yelling into the night sky,
To anyone that can hear,
Oh why do I feel this way?
Feel like there's no more sun,
No more anything,
No ones knows,
Yet you're locked in silence,
With your pain as a burden,
To carry alone.
