I trip on your shadow
And slowly fall down
With no one to catch me
I'm going to drown

Vain are my struggles
My bleeding arms bound
I give up and know
That I'll never be found

And now that you've left me
Like a flower to wilt
I see my mind eaten
By darkness and my guilt

The wounds from my battle
Convince me I'm strong
The war with emotion
That hurt for so long

But now it's all over
I've won the cold fight
I gave up my soul
But I lived through the night

Your words won't dig in
I bled over few
The voice in my head
Screams loud over you

The scars are now faded
My tears run no more
But deep down I know
I'm as weak as before
