Huddled Crying Masses
Bodies fallen to the floor
Here's the world i live in
The world behind closed doors

We each have our own secret
Yet a secret we all share
The pain of life made manifest
In bruises and pulled hair

And some, they have gone farther
Than anyone cares to see
Drowning in the river
Of blood we've each set free

This place, it makes us sisters
This place, it makes us friends
This place, it's constant torture
Our problems never end

A common man may glimpse upon
The problems that we face
But never would he journey to
Set foot upon this place

The place where tears are halted
By the slicing of this skin
The place where we're all desperate
Use a razor, needle, pin

No matter what we try to do
We still cannot escape
And others will not reach their hand
For fear that it would break

Depression is our master here
With daily sacrifice
Of blood and anger pouring forth
Self-hate, a deadly vice

Though lonely as we tend to be
Our secrets make us one
Together we can overcome
This hate before we're done

Yet the blood we spill wont hurt us
Nor the bruises nor the pain
For we are all strong women
Our courage far from plain

Yes I know i am strong enough
To hurt myself again
This most vicious of all cycles
We will never see the end
