Curled up in a corner
A wind starts to blow
It whips at your arms
And hate starts to show

As the clouds shift
The wind becomes rain
These small drops of fire
Pierce into the pain

It starts to flood forth
Now draining your core
It all turns to ice
And you're speared to the floor

Caught in the storm
The sky grows more dim
Now covered in scars
Where the tears all begin

Maybe someday you'll wake
And break through the cold
The black still paints red
But the light will unfold

Now watch the rain drizzle
Wash your body anew
It's a comforting warmth
When the sun filters through
