Shrouded in darkness,
I look into your familiar eyes And am filled with anger. My fist connects with your face And you shatter. I catch a broken piece of you And it burns me even though you're gone. I see myself bleeding But you bleed as much as I, And we both fall to the floor. The vermillion stains will wash away And leave my memories untainted. Nothing matters anymore. I look to the side to see your face, You look back in turn. Then we both smile the same smile And close our eyes. |
