On my side, upon my bed
Will this loneliness ever end?
Blank expression, cracks in the walls
Don't you wish beauty could possess us all?

The air is still, and room so grey
It seems to be another miserable day
Most likely have been laying here days on end
Wishing I had no emotion, so ability to feel
Just a numbed body with no need to heal

Staring into mirrors, hours at a time
How could that horrible face be mine?
Those blackened eyes
Scabs on my face
Knives, on my arms, have left their trace

Been disassociated from the world for so long
Hope that someone would realize that I've been four days gone
Supposing now I don't need any windows or doors
No need for light anymore

I hope to fall asleep for eternity
And never wake up for this nightmare
I sleep to slip away
I sleep to run away
