I saw her smile today,
I know she lied today,
I saw her hide today,
I know she cried today.

She told me she was fine today,
I know she wasn't fine today,
She told me not to worry today,
I worried more than ever today.

I saw her bleed today,
Crimson round her wrists today,
Crimson on her dress today,
The beginning of the end today.

I saw her head down today,
I heard her cry today,
I saw the razorblades in her bag today,
I saw the pain in her eyes today.

I saw the note on her desk today,
My heart filled with dread today,
My eyes filled with tears today,
I read her note today.

Tomorrow came too soon,
Standing by her gravestone,
She didn't cry today,
But that's because she died today.
