I'm just a girl
And this is my world
What can I say
I never ask for it to be this way

You laugh at me
You call me names
But I'm wondering if you'll ever see
That I won't play your stupid games
That's not what I wanna do

I'm just a girl
What should I do?
I'm just a girl
What's it to you?

My world isn't nice
Com'on in but you might want to think twice
It's not all you think it is
I pretend that it's ok ... I pretend that its alright
But if you step in you might get a fright

You may be big
And you may be tough
But my world can be rough

You won't last one day in my mind
Soon you will find
That my thoughts are hazy
You'll begin to go crazy

But I'm just a girl
I like to make things worse
Or so that's what you think
But step into my world
And get a better look
