She wishes she could see
But her eyes have been sewn
By needle and thread
Of heartbreak and hatred
Now she can't see anything
She can't see the illusions you show her
The fake masks you put on
To hide the real you
Even though her eyes are sewn wide shut
She can see inside
That thing you hide
That beast you keep locked away
Don't you have anything to say?
These feelings won't go away
Everyday the picture gets clearer
The pieces fit
The words make sense
Everything makes sense,
Yet nothing makes sense.
