you take my soul
and strangle it with your bare hands
you dissect me
and poke at my insides with a sharp stick
piercing me
i'm bleeding
forever yours
marked by the pain
eternally bruised by you
there's no where to go
no place to hide
there's no refuge
from the dark inside of me
i'm on the table
in a bright room
bare and cold for all to see
they scratch and stab my flesh
i feel their fingernails sinking into me
into my blood
the blade of their knives kissing my veins
my muscles
my heart
oh wounded heart
how you bleed
yet i notice no difference in you
still causing me pain
breaking in front of me
dying.
i grab the one who pierced my heart
i pull him close
hate fills his eyes
sweat dripping from his dark head
he laughs
he smiles and i see his fangs
such beauty
my breaths become shorter..
my eyes flutter
and i whisper
"finally..."
