There is a girl
Who is alone,
Rarely does she cry.

She wears long pants
And long sleeves,
In the middle of July.

She knows people
That seem to care
They always ask her why.

She cares for them too,
More than she knows
Yet she always seems to lie.

Her friends get scared
They demand,
She only has one reply.

They cry and yell
And shake and shout,
All she does is sigh.

They grow tired,
And finally decide,
It's only because she's shy.

They soon forget
And hurt her bad,
Not a tear falls from her eye.

She blames herself
For everything
And wreaks havoc on her thigh.

She walks around
All day long
With her eyes toward the sky.

She tries to smile
So they don't know
How bad she wants to die.

There is a girl,
Who is alone,
The night she says goodbye.
