My lips sting from cold air
Nitrous frozen knees afraid to shake
Pause, retreat, you're not there
Over soaked pupils, my vision quake

Bring the pain

Nicotine stained fingers fidget
Stainless steel holds an edge better
Not too deep idiot
Dry skin becomes wetter

Bring the pain

That edge doesn't glimmer
That sliver don't shine
Now red, what used to shimmer
That crimson is mine

Bring the pain

Again, again, again, again
Horizontal swipes
Focus the sorrow into pain
Five red tiger stripes

Bring the pain

Suspicion in park
"I scraped it in the shop"
Hide the mark
Let the subject drop

Bring the pain

Inflict the worst on myself
Scared puppies in denial spectate
Fuck myself, my health
Quick fix with no aftertaste

Bring the pain
I want it
Bring the pain
I need it
Bring the pain
I need to forget
Bring the pain
What really hurts
Bring it

Please!
