Ive seen the faded lines
That knowing glint in your eyes
The subtle smile across your face
As the world accepts my lies
I wont pretend to know your story
Or what hardships you have seen
But i can hear your skin, its screaming
I see where the razors been
And if we never speak again
Nor share an empathetic glance
I will always spare a thought
For our long suffering romance
For the years of my life
Where escape was everything to me
My earth, my moon, my sun
Milligrams, razors, misanthrope
And if i never break this curse
And i never truly find release
Please make sure my little sister
Finds a safe way to keep her peace
Cos if i lived to lose her
In the way my soul was lost
I could cry for absolution
But i couldn't pay the cost
To see her arms in tatters
To see her heart exposed
I want her to grow up happy
My little paper rose
