She's beautiful, so delicate
Pale, skin like porcelain
Long, silky hair
Built like a dancer
Her voice, musical and beautiful
But inside she's dying

She's weak
Hands like trembling birds
Stomach almost sunken in
With red and white fading scars
And a big, huge, carved scar with the letters F.A.T
Purging and starving she tries to reach her target weight
She's now society's image of perfect
The daughter every family dreams of
But she's fading, dying, caving in
And no one gives a damn as long as she stays beautiful.
