Spin around spin around until your feet lift off the ground spin around spin around until your ears can't hear the sound spin around spin around till to the shackles of reality you are no longer bound...
The lure of death's noose lies wrapped in trampled paper beckoning me from the curb. The Marlboro cowboy lassos me in, my body craving nicotine, myself lacking age. Grab up the burnt tobacco like a baby with her pacifier. Suck sickened smoke into my young, hungry lungs. Dizzy with lack of air I rid myself of pain then only an hour later crave the addictive additives again. People come people go come and see the no go show. Beat the bop, skip the hop, we'll ignore what you call pop. Bic pencils run bleeding over the albino pages in the blank book of my life. So come kill me, watch me bleed out all the life I ever knew. Humans are silent as they scream out pieces of smoke infested, mustard gas digested lung onto their vibrant red handkerchiefs they keep in side pockets of reality. Today was my mother's birthday. I stayed up until four thirty embroidering my love for her onto a paper card. People come and then they go, sometimes they applaud the show. Show and tell your inner works, open up and pray that perhaps the world will care this time ... But as usual it doesn't, and you're left there, alone and bare, its cold judgmental stare striping you of any outer lining that would usually protect you from its glare. When you get that feeling of vivid vulnerability, cower, crouch, curl up inside the shivering safety of that darkened corner you have come to know so well. In you fists grasp hold of your baby bottle filled to brimming with heartwarming formula made of whisky, tequila and rum. Guzzle it down, suck it down, wash it down. Let the intoxication digest your gray matter and soul. Don't allow the bottle drop until it is completely hollow. Let people come and go, who cares if they enjoy the show. You'll show them all just what you are: your perfectly normal. Sorry, but there's NOTHING TO SEE HERE, FOLKS! The showcase freak inside the cage you shall never again be. All you gotta do to get over that storm cloud rainbow is just spin around spin around until your ears can't hear the sound spin around spin around until your feet lift off the ground spin around spin around till from your shoulders sprout the wings that will take you soaring high into the darkened mourning sky... |
