Every day I wake up wanting to die
Any death would do
the colours are all gone no tears left to cry
and with this I'll say my final goodbye

Now my only friend lies within that shining knife
my doorway to another life
the light glistens on the faithful blade
and now it seems my decision has been made

I slash and I cut I rip and I tear
the scarlet river flows down my arm
the warmth of the blood assures me I'm safe from harm
no more tears no more pain

numbing of the senses as I await lady death
slowly my eyes close as I'm consumed by the dark
one last kiss from a loved one
they know it's too late for me now.
