You called me back.
wishing I could stay.
I'm sorry but I'm having
too much fun with my razorblade.
I hear it in your voice,
a salt water choked lullaby.
I can accept that you made your choice,
now please accept mine.
Tear drop sunshine
washes the stains from your hands.
Promises break before they're made,
I shouldn't have asked you to understand.
Remarkable cannibal,
eating away at your own dreams,
taking away my all so
you don't become like me.
Tear drop sunshine,
wash the blood away
Promises are formed to break
under the mistakes we made.
