You called me back.
wishing I could stay. I'm sorry but I'm having too much fun with my razorblade. I hear it in your voice, a salt water choked lullaby. I can accept that you made your choice, now please accept mine. Tear drop sunshine washes the stains from your hands. Promises break before they're made, I shouldn't have asked you to understand. Remarkable cannibal, eating away at your own dreams, taking away my all so you don't become like me. Tear drop sunshine, wash the blood away Promises are formed to break under the mistakes we made. |
