I close my eyes,
and in the back of my mind,
lives a girl I've left behind.
She was me a long time ago,
when things were so easy,
but only she knows,
what happened the day when i locked her away,
in the back of my mind,
where she was destined to stay.
Locked up like a dog,
in a small little cage,
with bars and chains,
to spend the rest of her days.
Sometimes i think I'm locked in there too,
with no one to talk to,
and nothing to do.
So i sit in the corner in my dark little room.
With just a small piece of glass,
no one around.
Faster and faster the blood hits the ground,
this is how ill spend the rest of my days,
or at least until someone lets me out of this cage.
