The perfect one
the one thing you want
the beautiful one
but you can never touch, can never have
stay within the velvet rope
you have restrictions on everything
the blood drains your face
your dreams will forever be shattered
the shadows then consume
the beauty of everything
take my perfect, take my soul too
what follows, you will want nothing to do with
your beauty is gone
nothing has meaning
and the sinking sand of fate
engulfs your ankles
as you dive into the face of death with no fear at all
you will no longer have anything to live this horrid life for
the hatred stings your open wounds
as you lick them dry
no one can say anything
no one will bring back your perfect,
beautiful
