fear is real
when its you who feel it
even if its not grounded
to anything specific
like,
waking up
feeling like the world has ended
and you are all alone
and there really is no such thing
as God
or heaven, or
no such thing as unconditional love
and that you are doomed
no matter how much you repent
and the time for repenting is over
anyways

the sins you've committed
are like shit in a backed up pipe
and you are in big trouble now
'cause the plumbers have all
retired or
just quit
and now everything stinks
now that you are all alone
so alone
with everyone gone
all the plumbers
all the weeping mothers
all the saints
all the children
all the bibles
and no God
at all
all gone
no heaven
only you

so you reason
that you must have died
and gone to hell
now that there is nothing left
only you, alone
alone
