death is the color i want to be
questioning that God religiously.
asking and asking with no reply
failing and failing until i die.
burning chaos deep within
to be a color, is that a sin?
i ask, "who the fuck are you?"
i just want to know before i am through.
years i've been battered by deceitful tongues
years i've been blessed with defective lungs.
a relentless victim, or just easy prey?
fall asleep eternally, asleep i will stay.
while in this repose, i forever dream
the morbid visions come
and the familiar comforting screams.
to this sleep i've become a slave
death is my color
my mind is my grave.
