Pictures, thoughts, invade my head,
arms concealed in crimson red,
anger, sadness, guilt, relief,
the punishment is bittersweet,
so goes life, now here am I,
compelled to live, too scared to die,
happiness was long ago,
a feeling, now, so seldom known,
pieces shattered, ripped, torn,
the culmination, each time sworn,
a vicious cycle, only known
to those who walk this painful road,
