tearing at the sound of silence ripping at the seams red drips and puddles on the ground thick and rosy staining everything near and dear the warm water surrounds your body and stings your open skin bringing pain quicker and sharper you close your eyes and try to think of nothing clear everything from your head breath deeply hoping for an answer when you know none will come your heart is pounding in your throat it echoes throbbing in your feet feel your stomach twist in discomfort as it ties into knots rises and falls you can feel the darkness coming faster now like needles penetrating your delicate flesh over and over you face is pale but you body bright covered in a juicy liquid that is thickening you make no attempt to stop the rush nor to even slow it a sly smile forms at your mouth gently turning the corners upwards
