....The burning slivered across my thigh,
Blood follows the trail of my razor.
It digs deeper as I press, yearning
for the feel of the blade as it slices
through my skin. The burning had be-
gun to comfort me in my agony.
....My battle is becoming harder to fight.
A battle no one knows of. They all
walk unaware. They never come to
my aide. No one can see the wounds
that cover my body.
....I cannot hide from the pain. I cannot
ignore the loss of my family, or of my
friends. I cannot hide from any of it.
Everything has been taken from me,
including my hope of regaining all
that I have lost.
