Scars multiply, like bacteria.
Body repossessed. Housebound by paranoia, parasite infests. Blood becomes nothing but red water cuts are only lines of dirt Metal caresses skin like silk Parasite numbs the hurt. Friends becomes no one but strangers Smiles are only lines of lies Misheard words cut all over Parasite pain magnifies Why did I let you inside? I lost myself, you took control. When I was lost you took a ride. You knew the way I let you drive. Why did I let you inside? You had a name, I gave you mine. When I'd forgotten who I was you took my name. You took my mind. |
