bleeding heart
in her chest
the massive heartache
that she knows best

you felt her
inside and out
you turned her to black
she's lost now in the darkness
she can't ever come back

she tries to find the light
blindly searching for the warmth
she cowers in the night
her soul burns
her arms yearn for the blade

she rips her skin open
and the red flows
flows in rivers down her pale skin
such a beautiful sight to her lifeless eyes
the corners of her mouth turn up
is that a smile?!?!
a smile on her face?
from the cuts of relief

the girl curls in her dark corner
in a puddle of blood
smiling that wondrous smile
all the heartache and pain
has seemed to escape her for this moment
and she is numb
she feels nothing
nothing for anyone.
