"What a sweet child," I hear them say
And I laugh to myself as they walk away

For the dark side is there
Buried beneath the smile
It's been with me for quite a while
My mother made it stay behind
And my grandma's stern words told it to hide
But what can I do now that she's gone?
This dark side has been in me all along

It's my lust for guns, my passion for knives
My getting angry on silent lies
It's the hatred I feel, the force of my fist
It's the look in my eyes of a merciless beast
It's the killer in me that stands all the pain
When I stand up to death and make it tame
It's the scars that I bear, the bruises I have
This rhyme that I write, my heart full of wrath
