She quickly pushes her long sleeves over her hands
Keeps walking
And hopes no one has seen
Her crimson wristbands

The steps are heavy
As if she is mad
Ninety degrees outside, and she is wearing heavy clothes
By the looks of it, no one even knows

She opens the door
Home at last
Runs into her room
She wants to live no more

Opens her drawer
Fumbles around
Takes out a knife
Starts carving out her so called life

Tears eat away at her hollow eyes
The heavier the tears
The deeper the cuts
Nobody is home to hear her hurtful cries

Runs to the bathroom
Takes out some pills
No time to turn away
She has to die today

Rummages in the drawer
Pulls out a rope
Strategically ties it
She will live no more

Steps up on a stool
After the pills are gone
Kicks it aside
Her thoughts too much to abide

And so she sways without a sound
Beautiful shade of blue
Body numb and without pain
As she is lowered to the ground
