I would like to say to GA that I also found God and was baptised at the beginning of this year. I started selfharming about 9 months before that. God has helped me, drawn me away from feeling suicidal and helped me value life more than anything else. I still SI quite badly (using blunt implements to scrape off large areas of skin from my arms and slashing) but despite this I believe God can help. When you feel like SIing talk to him and although you still may harm afterwards its not always as bad. It helps you not feel so lonely. GA I think this is an amazing story and I am glad that you found God.
